Enjoy a gentle, creative afternoon painting beautiful botanical art in watercolour at Cockington Court. We’ll focus on capturing the striking form of a tulip, using simple techniques that build confidence and skill.
This half-day workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to explore watercolours with a fresh perspective. We’ll go step-by-step, from soft washes to fine details, using both traditional watercolours and watercolour pencils to bring your flower to life.

Suitable for ages 16+
Refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon but lunch is not provided.
No experience necessary. This workshop is perfect for beginners.
Please bring old clothes or an apron - painting can get messy!
Long stay parking is available a short walk from the studio (Craft Centre Car Park: Open 7am – 7pm, parking charges apply, please bring cash), and the number 62 Torquay to Cockington bus stops at Cockington Village. https://www.torbaybuses.co.uk/
Bookings open 3 months prior to the workshop.
Cancellation Policy: Payments are not refundable but are transferable. Please give 2 weeks notice if you wish to transfer to a different date. I will always try my hardest to honour a workshop, but if for any reason the workshop has to be postponed (i.e. a global pandemic!), you will be offered the option of a full refund.
